I turned to the gun shot , Kogoro was shot in the head , his head fell flat onto his desk. "UNCLE!!" I ran to him , i hid under his desk , gunshots were still shot at the windows.

Did the organzation find me?! I checked the uncle's pulse...What?! its metal...Its a dummy! The gun shots stopped. its not safe to go out..A scream was heard.. but outside , it was cut off from a shot.. Wait..

I stood up and ran to the door , as soon as i opened it.... A gun was pointed to my head by a man with long silver ha- Gin! Haibara was on the floor behind him , bleeding from her head.

He chuckled and moved as Vodka came in , dropping Ran's dead body in front of me..

I woke up , in fear , shaking as tears ran down my eyes..

Now I get it... But

It's a sad story..

I look at Heiji and he is shaking his head.

Me , Ran and uncle was on our way homefrom a case. It's was a kinda easy one. I didn'teven have to use the stun-gun! We were walking home cause Ran wanted tobuy something for dinner.

We were startled when we heard series of loud footsteps coming near us. I instinctively put ta girl behind me and waited for the owner of the footsteps.

"But she is not here-- There you are, Kazuha, my daughter! I'm so worried when I saw this lobby empty. Are you okay?"

"Mmm! This boy took me here." The girl held my arm as if to show me to her father.  Just then, her father scanned me with his eyes when it lit up in recognition. "Oh! As expected at Inspector Hattori Heizo's son. What's your name?"

"Hattori Heiji."

Chapter 13 : Hattori's Case - Jealousy

Conan's POV

Ahh! If a case could entertain me from this boring party held by the Suzuki's, it would be worth my time. Maybe if I stayed home, I Would be already reading half of Edogawa Ranpo's latest book by now!

There are lots of famous and rich people scattered around the Suzuki's party hall. Obviously, Sonoko invited all of her friends here -eXcept the kids. (She said it's a party for grown-ups) Of course, even though I would love to stay home, Kogoro no-occhan had promised some of his friends a mahjong game this evening leaving Ran no choice but to bring me along. Much to Sonoko's annoyance.

I scanned the crowds who were chatting endlessly to one another dressed in formal suits and gowns.

I, myself, is wearing a grey suit with maroon necktie matching Ran's beautiful dress. She looks lovely tonight. W-Well... *coughs* I didn't intend to match her gown or anything. He-he. Not. R-Really!

A-And please! I know what you are thinking! I'm not b-blushing or some stuff l-like that. I d-don't *coughs* l-like Ran. It's not like that! O-Okay! Hattori is definitely taking so much time. I'm going to find him and ask if he has any interesting cases he's got right now.

I stood up, annoyed, and tried to find Hattori in the crowd who went off to somewhere a few minutes ago leaving me alone here near the veranda.

"And yah know what, Ran-chan? He's acting veeeerrrrry weird lately!" My ears heard hushed voice nearby from a familiar person. It is from Kazuha. I sneaked closer to their table (thanks to my small size, they didn't notice me) to be able to hear the story clearly.

"Nani, nani? What's weird about Hattori-kun?" Sonoko decided to joined them bringing both girls some kind of juice.

"Yesterday, I saw him talking ta someone over the phone. He has a very serious face whispering some things like 'I will be there, wait for me.' and 'Dont let anyone know' weird, right?" Kazuha told them with jealousy visible in her face. Tsk. If only she knew. Ha!

"Hmm. That's really strange but don't you think We are overthinking about this too much? Possibly a secret case given by the police or something. " Ran suggested trying to lift Kazuha's spirits.

"I was about to think that same thought as well. BUT that Heiji-flirt said 'I loooove you more than anything in this world' with a stupid smile on his face!! I was soooo mad that I've been ignoring him all morning!" Her eyes lit with fury with a scary aura surrounding her.

"It's an affair. A - F - F - A - I - Rl!" Sonoko confidently concluded.

"I know right! !" Kazuha added.

"Will Hattori-kun really do that?" Ran said.

"He already did Ran! Don't be upset. It's not like your husband, Shinichi, cheated on you. Besides, we will stalk Hattori-kun and find out who that mystery girl is! MUAHAHAHHA"

"He's not my husband.. Mou~ Sonoko" "--She's not (yet) my Wife! " I silently protested.

*Bzzzzk Bzzzzk*

My phone vibrated and saw Hattori's name on the caller id. I immediately went outside the party hall. It will be very bad if the three girls noticed me found out who was calling right now.

"Hello, Hattori! You are in a big trouble." I whispered through the receiver of my phone.

"W-Wait! How did you know? Meet me at the parking lot. I really need yar help. But don't get me wrong, I'm still bettar than yah.
HAHAHA"

"Where are we going?"

"To Osaka.---*toot*" I can imagine the goofy smile on his face while I ran straight to where we parked our car when we arrived.

What in the world was he thinking?!

Kazuha's POV

"--Ta punch that aho in ta sto-- Oh! Speaking of jerk..." They leaned over my phone to get a glimpse of ta name of the jerk who's calling me right now. Right after we put the phone on loud speaker,

The next day. Conan went to school as usually.

Conan's POV;

Erm, is this my school? Suddenly, there are two girls and two boys ran towards me. I wonder who they are.

"Who are you guys?" I asked.

"My name is Ayumi, and this is Haibara" The little shorted hair girl said.

"And my name is Genta" The big boy said.

"And my name Mitsuhiko" said the boy who is standing beside the girl named Haibara.

"And we are the DETECTIVE BOYS !! They shouted.

Ran and I are on our Way to Professor's House. 5 minutes past by. We finally arrived at someone's house. It is quite big.

"So, this is Professor Agasa's house." She told me.

"Ran-neechan, Who are living next to Professor Agasa's house?" I asked her. It seems like I know something about that house but, I can't remember. Ugh!

"Shinichi-niichan. Shinichi-niichan used to live there." she replied. I saw Ran was about to cry. I wonder why.

"Hey, we better not wasting our time looking at the house. Let's go inside" she said.

Ran-neechan knocked the door. Then the door was open by Haibara. Eh? Why is she doing here?

"Haibara? What are you doing here?"i asked her.

I sat on the sofa Which is at the corner of the room. Suddenly, an old big man came to me and introduce himself. "Hey! Conan-kun. I'm Professor Agasa." He smiled.

"Oh Hi" I smiled at him too. Okay, this is awkward.

"Do you know Shinichi-niichan? He lived beside your house right? Can I meet him?" i asked. I don't know why i want to meet him. I just wanted to know who is Shinichi Kudo actually.

Professor Agasa, Haibara and Ran-neechanwas showing their shock face. I don't know why.

"He is not here. He is still solving some big cases. So we don't know where is he now.“Professor Agasa told me.

"Owh I get it now" I answered.

"Hakase.. Could you please help me to watch over Conan-kun. Because I need to do some work. Ran said to Professor Agasa.

"Okay. I would love to take care of him." Professor Agasa replied.

"Arigato ,Hakase bye Conan-kun" She wave at me and walked slowly to the door.

No one's POV.

It's already been 1 week, and conan still didn't wake up. Everybody was worried sickly about him.

Ran's POV;

"Conan-kun please wake up. I'm so sory" said Ran and cried.

Suddenly, I saw Conan's hands were moving. I look at his face. He open his eyes and look at me.

"Err, where am I? Who are you?" He asked me. His question makes me sad but in the same time I was happy because he finally woke up. I called doctor to check on him.

"Err.. Conan-kun, You're at hospital. I'm Ran- neechan." I answer his question honestly.

"My name is Conan?" He ask again.

"Yea. You are.." stopped talking as the doctor came to the room. He was checking out Conan's condition. I called Professor Agasa and everybody and tell them that Conan were already woke up.

Ran's POV;

Today he can be discharge from the hospital. Now, he can go home and take a good rest. Remember. don't force him to remember anything. It would make his head in pain.'

The doctor told us.

"Okay, I will take care of him" i replied.

We arrived at Mouri Detective Agency.

"Conan-kun,This is our home. My dad was a detective. Sometime you help him to solve the problem." I explain to Conan.

"Ouhh " Conan just nodded his head.

"So this is your room." I told him.

"Okay, thanks R-Ran-neechan."he smiled.

"If you need anything just tell me. My room was just next to your room. At there." I said. Conan nodded his head.

Conan's POV;

Im so hungry. I went out and knocked Ran-neechan door. But no response. I knocked again. It was still the same. So i decided to open her door.

"Oh. She is sleeping." I walked to her bed to wake her up. But, I saw a picture frame. It was a picture of Ran-neechan with a guy. Her boyfriend maybe? Suddenly, I felt my head wes very hurt.

"Arghh" I shouted. I think I know something about that picture.

Ran woke up and she ran to me. "Are you okay Conan-kun?" she asked.

"Err, im okay. It just my head suddenly inpain. BTW, who was in the picture with you?" i asked.

"Ouhh, He is my childhood friend. His name is Shinichi Kudo the great detective." she replied my question.

Shinichi Kudo? Its like familiar name.

"Oh. Ran-neechan. I'm hungry." I told her. I almost forgot about it.

"Okay, come with me" she hold my hand and went to kitchen.

"Why are you making a nervous face huh? you're Shinichi right?!?" She said straight to the point.

What?! N-no. Are you kidding me? Im Conan Edogawa. Im not Shinichi-niichan." I lied to her. well as always.

"Don't you lie to me again Shinichi! I know that you're Shinichi. Just tell me the truth!" Ran shout at me.

Is she angry? blup:O help me!

'No Ran-neechan! I'm Conan-kun not Shimichi-Niichan,I've told you!" I began to cry. A fake
cry okay. I ran to the outside and suddenly...

Ran's POV:

OhMyGod! It is my fault:( Iforce him and i shouted at him. He just a little kid. Why am I
so baka huh?! Err Baka.Baka,Baka!

Professor Agasa finally arrived at the hospital with the 'Detective Boys'

"Say.. Ran, How was Conan-kun now?" Hakase asked me.

"I don't know. He is still in the emergency room" I replied.

"I hope nothing happened to Conan-kun. God please save him."Ayumi pray.

After a half of an hour later.The doctor came out

"So, is Conan doing fine, doctor? Is he okay?" I ask the doctor.

"Firstly, he is in a critical state. And the second is.." the doctor didn't continued his
sentences.

"What was it Doctor? Is it bad??" I feel like something bad happen.

"Erm, maybe after he wake up, he will never remember anything. In other word, he maybe
will have an amnesia" The doctor say.

"How can it be?"Prof Agasa ask him.

"It is because of his head was being hit so hard when the accident happen." the doctor say
while looking straight into Professor Agasa eyes.

All of them were shocked. And I was like "its all my fault! If i didnt asked him the stupid
quetion, Conan will not be in this situation "

Ran started to cry.
